Welcome to the website of Faros rooms! Faros rooms are located on the island of Anafi, Greece.
Faros Rooms are ideally situated just 20 meters from the Agios Nikolaos Beach. With the Kleisidi Beach just a ten-minute walk away (via a footpath), and Katsouni Beach within a twenty-minute stroll, you’ll have direct access to the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea. No need for a car, bike, or bus – simply step outside and indulge in a refreshing swim. Enjoy the sheltered location that offers breathtaking views of the deep blue sea, creating an idyllic setting for beach lovers.
We also encourage you to explore the beauty and charm of the island beyond your doorstep. Anafi, with its unspoiled landscapes and tranquil atmosphere, offers a serene escape from the bustling tourist destinations. Discover the magnificence of the second-largest rock in the Mediterranean, explore the historic site of the Apollo Temple, and immerse yourself in the captivating beauty of the island’s landscapes.
In the port area you may find restaurant, ATM machine, and a coffee shop. The mini market that operated in previous years, will not operate this season. Other areas where you will find food and entertainment are Kleisidi, Chora and Roukounas.
Mobile phone signal in the port area is available for the following carriers: nova-wind (high), cosmote (medium), while for vodafone there is no signal; if you have to use vodafone carrier, you have to walk to the far end of the port, or you may use wifi-calling service when connected to wifi. All the beaches after Klisidi have no mobile signal whatsoever. Also, tap water is not drinkable.
Please note that access to the rooms is through a set of stairs, and are best suited for guests who enjoy walking and are comfortable with stairs. The elevated location of the rooms offers stunning views and a sense of tranquility that comes with being perched above the surrounding landscape. Also, there is a faint sound coming from the local electricity generating station. People usually do not notice it.
Breakfast is not included in the price. Check-in time is at 14:00 and check-out time at 11:00. In order to ensure that you have the best possible stay with us, please read the House Rules.
